You can use doXtop for blogging ...

You can use doXtop for blogging as well. You get fully featured publishing sites and you can create your content with standard word processors and office tool (you can alos use an HTML editor). You can publish content into your doXtop blog (we call it "Magazine") alone or within a team of authors.

Lately I was with my friend and our wifes in the pyrenees on a race bike holiday and we used doXtop to create our holiday blog ...… Continue

22nd August: Urgent message: doXtop temporarily not available

Dear doXtop users

We want to inform you that our free social publishing platform doXtop is temporarily not available. Our provider Strato (Germany Berlin) shut down our FrontEnd server with no warning on Friday 2pm CET due to a copyright complaint - that we didn't see yet.

We took immediate action - did everything Strato requested in this case - and hope to be back live soon.

We also will implement a solution that avoids this type of problem… Continue

Thank You for the wonderful opportunity to extend interactivity with real-time publishing with your Site here for doxtop use. I am sure that it is going to be immensely beneficial and I look forward to reading more from the people posting here as I learn how to function within the limits of the applications, to enable us to publish with unlimited horizons; very gracious of you, Paul and beneficial to many.

I am going to immediately put this forward to a Ning network where I know it will make a huge impact!!

:-)

Gratefully Yours,

Hi Paul,
Sorry for not getting back to you sooner, as you can tell, I have been a bit busy. Thank you very much for the welcome to doxtop. This is an amazing site and I am excited to be here.
Excuse my ignorance, but what is hi5 and these others you speak about? They sound interesting and promising:)

Hi Paul,

I found out that the publish button disappears when you set the site offline. I see it when the site is online.

New question is: on doXtop i made the documents not visible. In this application on Ning it shows every document. Is there a smart solution without having to setup different accounts? I thought of a solution with a few separate friends accounts with rights to certain documents. You would like to show the documents that are relevant and public or select the private ones per site.

I used delete in Ning but that made me loose the docs on doXtop. No problem because was test only.

Regards,
Zweder

Hi,

I registered on doXtop with an alias yesterday. But i do not think that is the problem. I don't see the login option after adding the application on my Ning site.it says there is nothing to publish but it doesn't know who I am (cannnot see log in). On this site I see login when I add the application.

Regards,
Zweder

Hi Paul,

I am in the testing fase with my new professional networking and publishing site and think about using doXtop as application. On your Ning the aplication shows the login feature on my page. In my Ning site (not open yet) I can not login.

Is there a solution?

Regards,
Zweder
